Re-Election: Forum urges support for Oshiomhole

BENIN CITY – Forum of Chairmen of Government owned Board of Parastatals and Councils, Edo State, has urged the people of the state to throw their weight behind Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s re-election bid.

The forum at its inaugural meeting in Benin City yesterday observed that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has done enough physical development to deserve another tenure so as to complete his transformational work in Edo State.

The forum’s protem Chairman, Hon. Josef Omorotionmwan, stated that members are impressed by the developmental strides of the comrade governor, stressing that “what is good should not be slaughtered for its good.”

“This body does not believe that anybody that is doing well should be sacrificed on the alter of election but we all must vote for the comrade governor. We are going to play our role in support of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s re-election”, Hon. Omorotionmwan asserted.

The forum, however, called on the general public to pay deaf ear to any comment from people who are bent on making unguarded, baseless and unproven statements about the comrade governor’s administration.

“This forum has come out to further conscientize the people on the need to disssociate themselves from falsehood and the pull him down evil motives of some set of people”, he added.

The forum affirmed that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has performed creditably well in the state, and admonished the people to vote emphatically for the comrade governor both in the party’s primary election and the actual election come July 14th.

Among those present at the meeting were Pastor Collins Okonufua, Board Chairman (EBS), Dr. David Osifo, Edo State College of Agriculture, and Dr. Oshotse Ohenhen who was elected as the forum interim secretary amongst others.
