Apostle Suleman Doles Out Cash To Widows

AUCHI - There was no party, no canopy and there was nothing exceptional to tell that the wife of the most popular Minister of God in Edo State and indeed South-South, Apostle Johnson Suleman was celebrating her birthday on that Sunday, but the air of festivity filled the over 50 thousand capacity church auditorium as worshippers sing praises to God for sparing Mama’s life.

The birthday ceremony which commenced immediately after the normal church service was devoid of the usual pomp and ceremony that normally characterise such birthday anniversary.

Though the usual was not there, still many worshippers from far and wide joined in giving praises and dancing to the glory of God as Reverend (Mrs.) Lizzy Suleman), wife of the Founder/General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleman, at the international headquarters of the Omega Fire Ministry situated on the busy Auchi Okene Road in Auchi, celebrated her birthday in style.

While waiting for the usual, the celebrant decided that that day was a day she had set aside to give out to the less privileged and most especially, widows from the age of 60 and above and this she did in style.

Immediately after cutting the birthday cake, the woman of God, dole out various sum of money and gift items to the over joyous widows who sang and danced to the admiration of all present at the church.

The church was filled to its full capacity with worshippers who came in from different parts of the country and abroad to join the celebrant to thank God for her life and offer prayers that she lives long to do more in the Lord’s vineyard.

Some of the church members gave testimonies about the humanitarian attitude of the woman (fondly called Mama) who caters for widows and orphans (numbering thousands); pay school fees of some indigent students in different higher institutions; feed the less privileged and gives succour to the downtrodden.

“She has been used by God to turn my situation around for the better and also to give my life a meaning. From a point of hopelessness my situation has now become that of a woman who is the pride of her generation.

”Needless to say that Mama has a heart of gold. She treats everybody she meets with respect and love no matter the status of the person in the society,” a worshipper testified.

In her comments, an elated Reverend Mrs. Suleman said she can never be tired of serving those who are in need as this is what she considers as the biggest and greatest of Jesus Christ’s Ministry.

She gave kudos to her husband for being the pillar behind most of her efforts in reaching out to the needy in the society.

She averred that her eight years of marriage has been a success mainly because of the undying respect and love she and her spouse have for each other aside from the fact that they live a life guided by the scriptures.
