The State Commissioner for Education, Barr. Ekpenisi Omorotionmwan, made the assertion when he played host to a political group, the New Face Organization, in his office.
He noted that the Oshiomhole-led administration has, in the past three years, impacted positively on the lives of Edo people through good governance and provision of qualitative basic infrastructure across the State.
Barr. Omorotionmwan who lamented the dilapidated state of infrastructure prior to the advent of the present administration, reaffirmed the commitment of Comrade Oshiomhole towards providing quality and affordable education to the citizenry.
The Education Commissioner emphasized that the July 14, 2012 gubernatorial polls was a crucial moment of decision for well meaning Edo people to choose between those he called professional promise-makers and a people-oriented government, under Comrade Oshiomhole for the sustenance of democracy dividends.
He lauded the New Face Organization for their initiatives, while urging them to continue to mobilize Edo people on the ideals of participatory democracy and good governance.
Earlier in his address, the Coordinator of New Face Organization, Barr. Felix Alan, stated that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was a role-model, worthy of emulation.
He commended the Comrade Governor for his developmental strides, while assuring to spread the transformational gospel of the present administration.
