IRRUA – A former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo State, Mr. Sylvanus Osolase popularly called “Elder” has given reasons for his defection to the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Edo State.
Osolase said his resolve to join .the ACN was borne out of his genuine desire to support Comrade Governor Adams Oshiomhole in building Edo State.
He said, Edo State is now wearing a new look due to the ongoing massive infrastructural development in the state.
Elder Osolase decried the undemocratic activities in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), hence his decision to defect to the ACN with all his supporters across the state.
He commended Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for the .success recorded so far in transforming the state.
He highlighted some of the projects so far executed by the Governor in his constituency, Esan Central Local Government Area to include construction of Usugbenu Road, Equare Primary School, Annunciation Catholic College (ACC) and the motorized water project.
Elder Osolase called on the people of Edo State to support the Comrade Governor ahead of the July 14th, 2012 Governorship election.
He stated that the Governor has performed creditably and deserved to be given second term mandate in order to complete all the ongoing projects in state.
Elder Osolase who is from Ward 6 in Esan Central Local Government Area assured that he will adequately mobilize the people for the return of the Governor back to Government House, adding that the people cannot be deceived again.
