Edo 2012: Oshiomhole Will Win Again !

BEFORE Adams Oshiomhole won the ticket as the Action Congress Governorship candidate, Adams had launched the Labour Party in Edo State.

With the unprecedented mammoth crowd that took over the Ring road, one will without any doubt agree that he has been publicly accepted. At that time, what the people were saying was that “Adam, Edo People are waiting for you to rule the state.

When again he went to Action Congress and launched the party at the same venue, the crowd was twice that when he launched the Labour Party. What that meant was that, he was publicly accepted by Edo people.

One will recall, that soon after the launching at Uro-kpo-ta ground, the first place of call was the palace of the Oba of Benin, Omo-n-Oba Nedo-Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa.

During that visit, the Oba said, and I quote “we have watched your past activities as the president of the Nigerian Labour Congress, you never disappointed us, when you addressed the largest labour body in Africa, we were proud to have you as our son.

We pray God will grant you the wisdom to do more in the state” in the same vein, the Esogban of Benin, Chief D.E Edebiri said “for years, I refused to be in active politics but because of Adams Oshiomhole’s antecedents and his interest to serve the state, I will come out openly, both in the day and night to support him and to make sure Oshiomhole becomes the Governor of the state”.

The matter was not different when he visited the palace of the Onojie of Ewohimi, his second home. The home of the late first lady, Mrs. Clara Oshiomhole of blessed memory. The Onojie said, you are my son-in-law there is nothing that will prevent you not to become the Governor of Edo State.

At the palace of the Onojie of Ewatto, Ohordua,Ugboha and Ubiaja, they were all unanimous that Oshiomhole will win the election come 2007. In Edo North, his fatherland, ,Etsako the people led by the Otaru and all other traditional rulers came together and collectively agreed to vote for Adams come 28th May 2007.

Also professionals, market women, labour leaders and artisans were not left out in their support for Adams Oshiomhole.

They all voted for Adams enmass and at the end, Adams won, but the mandate was temporarily stolen by the evil people in the opposition party.

Because Gods word never go void, God said, “the enemies will gather but will not succeed against those who wish the children of God evil? During the campaign in all the local government areas he visited, Adams saw for himself, all the problems confronting the people .And since, he assumed office as the Governor, he has not disappointed the people. All the promises he made during the tour in 2006/2007, Adams fulfilled them in all ramification. Take the schools for example, children

who were sitting on bare floors under leaking roofs, the unemployed youth, poor health system etc have received his attention, water bore holes where it was impossible to get water, roads, and many other things which Comrade Oshiomhole did not mentioned during the campaign have been touched positively.

Therefore history is definitely going to repeat itself through Edo people as they vote for Adams massively, and judging by the recent declaration by traditional rulers from Edo South, led by Prof. Akenzua who led the Enigies and told Comrade Adams that they have given him their support come 14th July 2012.

Recently, the Enigies from Edo Central came to see the Comrade Governor, and gave their assurance that, themselves and their people are for Adams . One of the traditional ruler who led the deligation said, if it was possible for Adams to rule this state three times, we would have said so.

But he is coming back to finish the good job he started .There is no reason why history will not repeat itself for the good of the people of the state when the result would have been counted and announced that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has won again the Governorship election.

The only history that will not repeat itself is that of the tribual because, the margin with which Adams Oshiomhole will win the election will not give room for anyone to go to the tribunal.

The works of the Comrade Governor speak volume, therefore both the old, young, men, women, girls and boys even the unborn babies will vote for Adams, if possible. Even in the coven where the witches and wizards meet, they have also agreed that, Adams Oshiomhole have done well, that he deserve a second term.

The Holy Spirit and almighty God also approve that Adams will come again to complete the job he has started.
